Bibigo London is a Korean restaurant that is a part of a large conglomerate firm, CJ Food Europe Ltd. The restaurant markets itself with the slogan “Healthy and fresh Korean kitchen”, so the marketing materials were designed to give an impression of well-being and freshness. The materials I designed include various brochures, signboards, vouchers, cloakroom cards and seasonal menus.
Lunch & Dinner Set Menu Outdoor Signage (840 x 550mm)
Tools used: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
Event guide postcard (6 x 11inch)  Vent Nouveau White, 227gsm
Tools used: Illustrator, Photoshop
The main requirement for the material was to have a clean and modern look. With a clear layout and emphasised fonts, I also included pictures of each menu so that people could see what was on offer (as the names of Korean dishes can be unfamiliar).
Summer Special Drink Menu (200 x 150mm, Bifold) Vent Nouveau White, 250gsm
Tools used: Illustrator, InDesign
I illustrated the drinks exactly as they look when they are served, but with a catchy style which is a bit different concept from what the brand has as it is for special drinks. I still kept the identity colour of the company—light green—on the background of the illustrations for consistency. Little fizzy bubbles on the raspberry and a slice of lemon that are the main ingredients of each menu add more fun to the special seasonal menu.
Christmas Special Cocktail (105 x 148mm) Vent Nouveau White, 250gsm
Tools used: Illustrator, Photoshop
I kept the identity colour of the company, light green, but also used red for emphasis on the festive season. Little snow on top of the Bibigo logo adds some more fun to the material.
Brand story brochure (300 x 210mm, Trifold) Vent Nouveau White, 150gsm
Tools used: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop
I used colours from nature to imply the brand’s slogan, “Healthy and fresh Korean kitchen”, and to match the theme with the overall wooden interior of the restaurant. I also made use of the hexagonal shapes from Korean traditional patterns.
VIP Vouchers (135 x 70mm) Vent Nouveau White, 150gsm
Tools used: Illustrator, Photoshop
The vouchers were for VIP customers to use as cash at the restaurant. They were designed to be the same size as a five-pound note as it fits into most wallets, and I used a minimal range of colours instead of bright pictures for a simple look that does not look cheap.
Set menu Coupons (85 x 175mm) Vent Nouveau White, 250gsm
Tools used : Illustrator, Photoshop
I tried to use as many pictures of food they promoted as possible so that potential customers could easily see what is being promoted and what kind of dishes they would get.
